Beyond Stretching: Understanding Hypermobility Through the Lens of Fascia (virtual) July 14th 2026 6PM EST

$88.00

Are you naturally flexible, double-jointed, hypermobile, or living with hEDS? Has your hypermobility been glorified, only to find that your body still feels tight, unstable, painful, or fatigued?

This workshop explores hypermobility from a fascial perspective and offers a new way of understanding why many hypermobile bodies can feel both extremely mobile and surprisingly restricted in certain areas at the same time.

We’ll discuss how the body adapts to joint laxity, why dense and protective tissue patterns often develop around hypermobile joints, and how the nervous system, fascia, and movement work together to create stability.

Through guided education and gentle movement, you’ll be introduced to Fascia Flossing™️—a method that combines engagement and elongation: pandiculation - your body’s native was to take care of your tissue. Help yourself improve tissue quality, support healthier force distribution, and encourage more balanced movement patterns throughout the body.

In this beginner-friendly workshop, we’ll explore:

• Why hypermobile people often experience tightness despite having large ranges of motion
• The relationship between fascia, stability, and the nervous system
• How the body compensates for joint laxity
• The difference between passive stretching and active tissue remodeling
• Foundational Fascia Flossing principles and techniques
• Practical strategies for creating support, resilience, and body awareness

This workshop is designed for beginners, movement enthusiasts, bodyworkers, healthcare practitioners, and anyone curious about understanding hypermobility beyond the traditional flexibility narrative.

The session will include approximately 75 minutes of education and guided movement, followed by time for questions and discussion.

No previous experience is required.
